Donor Impact allows you to create advertisements for opportunities to donate so that you can promote the areas where the financial need is the most, or you can leave donations unrestricted.  There are referred to as Donation Programs in the software.   You also have the ability to create Donation Sources in your Donor Impact account so that you can track how donors came to make their donation.  Some of your efforts could include things like mail campaigns, referrals and website traffic.   Finally, you have the ability to add Donation Types to track the method by which the donation was made.  Some examples could include cash, check, credit or pledge.
