Organizations that want volunteers reporting on the interactions they have with the client can log this information in two different ways. Interactions can be recorded either by logging an encounter or by logging volunteer hours along with customized feedback questions. This section will review both options so that you can determine which method best suits your organization and reporting needs. Generally, we would recommend logging client encounters if you do not need hours associated with your encounters. If your program wants volunteers logging hours along with post interaction feedback, then the hours logging option would be the best method as this can be achieved in one step.
